The Chalklin Metal Handle Gong Mallets are the Chalklin version of how they used to make the Paiste Gong Mallet. They are very similar.
These mallets are better for quicker attacks, as the handle is hollow, therefore making the handle lighter and easier to gain momentum on the head. The mallets themselves are just slightly heavier than the Paiste Mallets.
