Bring the sound of crashing ocean waves into your sound practice. These wave drums are not beaten like typical drums. Instead, you hold them flat and slowly tilt them to roll around the small steel balls that are inside. The sound created is reminiscent of the ocean and many find it calming to the mind if used appropriately.
This drum comes in various sizes. The larger sizes are very loud and we only recommend them for use in larger spaces like a yoga studio or venue. For smaller gatherings or private sound therapy, consider a smaller size.
One side of the drum is synthetic and transparent, allowing the player to see the location of the steel balls. The other head is made of goatskin. There is a filling port on the frame that enables control over the amount of steel balls inside.
